... that is to come, so plonked myself down on a seat while David hurried off to buy water so I could take some Panadeine. We tried sitting at a restaurant table under an awning but were still getting soaked, then fortunately managed to snaffle a seat indoors at a nearby restaurant. The views you get are just magic and the walk without the stairs is fairly easy going (if you don't mind clinging to the cliff to allow others to pass or to just get to next step) Yes Sis, you would be proud of me. We actually arrived at Vernozzo in 1hr40minutes so "go the nomads!". As you come down into Vernozzo we took a staircase between the houses and at the end stepped out into the square. It was bustling ...

Rough stuff in Porto Venere – calm in La Spezia.

What a crazy night – we sailed from Livorno into some crazy weather with torrential rain, high winds and rough seas – we were a rocking and a rolling all night. At least we were lying down – it was like being in an automated hammock – we were rockin' and rollin’ all night long!

    I heard that ...
