      ... to spend the time with Susan and I felt like she was an old friend - she looked,talked and acted exactly the same as Claire. It was Claire's little mini me ;-) My time in Dusseldorf had sadly come to a close and before I knew it I was on my way to Berlin.       I had a really good sleep and felt refreshed after the rather tiring first day. I had a shower (hotel showers are just amazing) then went down for breakfast, there was a great selection of food that was a help yourself buffet ranging from a full cooked breakfast to a lighter continental choice or both if you were very hungry, I opted for a cooked breakfast, very similar to a full English but the bacon was cut really thinly, almost see through, the sausages were small ...

      ... during my journey did speak English very well but I did notice the further out you go from the city the less English people speak, on my visit to Kaiserworth I went to a local bakery to have some lunch and it was a quite difficult to make my order understood, by using hand gestures and pointing at products on display I got what I wanted and a nice smile from the lady serving.

      Time to turn in now and recharge my batteries.

      ... small compared to the Columbus Zoo but I still loved it. There are too many favorite/funny parts to choose just one to be my absolute favorite but I really enjoyed the Botanical Garden.. It was this huge rain forest exhibit that had wild birds just everywhere. It felt like I was in sauna and our phones & cameras started fogging up from the moisture in the air!
