... I look forward to taking him out in the States for something much more authentic whenever he is able to come by to visit me!
Seemingly just as soon as I arrived I found myself saying goodbye already and reversing my short walk to the tram platform, the train station and back down the Rhine river valley toward Switzerland to meet my family in Zurich. Another day of trams, trains and stations...just hopefully no more grumpy ticket agents!

cappuchino which was a great start to our day. We caught a train to Aachen - about an hour away and enjoyed reading our books on the way. The trains are very easy to relax in and we took a few photos of some interesting graffiti and villages as we raced past, as well as finally getting a shot of a solar panel farm.
