Tuesday 9th Sept Today is travel day. We had a 3 hour drive to Menton train station to drop off the hire car .After a small hiccup at the first toll gate and $30.00 worth of cumulative tolls we found the train station drop off point for the Avis car .There was no Avis office or parking bays left ! Thank god for Robyn's SIM card, we phoned the Avis office and we were instructed to just park it and ...

This morning after a very nice breakfast we took the local, sightseeing ..hop on hop off bus.for a one hour trip around the outer city.....remember cars are prohibited from the old city.....motorbikes and scooters are ok

After a circuit we went a few more stops then got off and walked....much more fun.
