It really is a bit magical here. The mist and cold and the fairy lights. I keep pinching myself as it does have a little bit of a fairy tale feel being in the middle of it all. ... We then went to Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. We sat inside overlooking the canal. This day happened to be Gay Pride Parade day so we saw a few interesting boats travel by during our lunch. We walked through the city to see sights and got caught in a few rain showers before we arrived at the Anne Frank House in the Old Town. We waited in line for 45 minutes, but this ...

... weekend. Then did a canal trip. Interesting. Met John in the evening and had a beer and the found an excellent little Chinese restaurant with a queue outside and decided this was the one. They served very good real Chinese food. After that we wandered aimlessly about the red light district with hundreds of other voyeurs checking out the girls posing in the windows. Extraordinary.
