I wanted to come back to St Malo to watch the tide come in while drinking a bottle of wine! We walked to the shore. The tide was out so we walked to the two closest Forts. We walked around the old walled city and had a beer and pizza. Back to the shore to see how far the tide had ...

These rolling hills are very strange, imagine the summits no larger than 2-3 football pitches and spaced about 300-600m apart, all are forested with the farmlands in the space between summit's. Ann and Dave decide to go back to the Greek restaurant that we ate at on Friday. Melody goes with Jessie and Andrea to see a band that is ...

... We then drive almost to the centre of Stuttgart - near the Rathaus and cycle in with no coats required. We wander through the industrial town of Stuttgart in the sunshine. Much of Stuttgart was destroyed in the war so most of the buildings are newer, but a few stunners remain. We note that Europeans are much more sociable than the Brits - coffee shops are full even early in the morning and the pedestrianised streets, even though the shops are all shut, ...

... to the church where there was an interesting mix of attendees. There were probably about 40 people present. Of those there was a group of about 6 to 8 around high school age and almost all of the others were probably over 50 years old, if not over 60. About midway through the service something a bit annoying happened. Even though I have my cell phone locked so it won't make any calls without my explicit knowledge, it emitted two quick double beeps. I could not imagine who could ...
