... been suppressed for weeks, we had to release them, even for two meals; dinner and brekkie. So off we all went to the REWE Supermarket and purchased sufficient food for a small Army for a week. Dinner was prepared and cooked and taken onto a tiny passage/verandah which necessitated everyone standing up if someone walked past. It was all good fun and we all ended up fed and "watered". Another great day cycle ...

While we were in this town we stopped off for mornos at a nearby bakery. For a lot of the trip we had a view of very steep terraced vineyards; part of the Neckar Valley Wine Region. ... vehicle. The Girls did the Hop-on Hop-off Bus to see the sights of Stuttgart. Mostly took in the older part of the city, the little that survived the extensive WWII bombing anyway. Dinner tonight was at a very nice Thai Eatery (Pad Thai with chicken) at the Main Railway Station. Inexpensive, quick but very clean and nice tasting with wine/beer etc available. Tomorrow the Boys and Girls are back ...

... store and use our newly acquired German to ask for a sink plunger. The man has no idea what we are talking about but takes us to the sink section. We find a plunger. Slightly large for our minuscule sink, but it will do. The man returns to ask us in embarrassingly perfect English if we found what we need because he is shutting soon (it is 11am on a Tuesday!!). We get some hose to enable us to fill up with water and leave the man to shut up his shop. Next stop is ...
