Totally confusing town. Lots of signs heading into town. lots of exit roads on both sides of the river, but no bloody sign. As soon as I got to the centre of town the signs would disappear.
I headed out of direction, just a few kilometers then I turned and headed back. Tried another road but the took me back up the mountain, so I turned around. Tried another road, still no signs, so I pulled into a service station and asked. Si si (pointing the way ...
... Austria looking for a bloody sign. They don't have many. As you approach a town you'd think you will just follow the road straight through and come out on the other side. Not so.

It does seem to be a lot colder on this side of the mountain for some reason. And so ends a beautiful ...
... And yet, they were conquered. This bridge was the link, the first step in getting across this fierce river, then up the cliffs, across the pass and on to the kingdoms on the other side. Of course, there's a video clip (one of my favorites to date), across the bridge, and up the trail on the far side. Once I reach the highway partway up the mountain, I'm faced with my own challenge. This highway does not look very pedestrian friendly as it chisels, ...
