This hotel has a retro-feeling. Rooms are very spacious and have stunning views over the mountains. Breakfast are buffet style and very good. Service also very good. Undercover parking available. Burgerbad baths are walking distance from the hotel.

We reached the hut after a few hours and were happy to find they sold hot soup and a stew. It was great to warm up as the temperature was so much colder on top of the mountain.

... would 100% do it again in a heartbeat.

Interlaken was the most serene and absolutely breathtaking place I have ever been and I hope to get the chance to return one day to spend more time and possibly ski. It definitely isn't a place to go on a budget, but if you have the money and the time, it should be on your bucket list for sure!

P.S. I took about 400 photos in one weekend, so this is just a snippet of what was there. Absolutely breathtaking everywhere!

... surrounded by forest covered mountains. After a quiet morning we set out for the town centre. We stopped by the tourist office for hiking information, picked up groceries for lunches and dinners and then toured the shopping district. We went back again after supper when the storm cleared and now we're researching our plans for the next few days before bed. Someone has a new toy and can't wait to customize some walking sticks for tomorrow...
