This hotel has a retro-feeling. Rooms are very spacious and have stunning views over the mountains. Breakfast are buffet style and very good. Service also very good. Undercover parking available. Burgerbad baths are walking distance from the hotel.

The walk is all downhill and in some parts the incline is quite steep. We then caught the train from Wengen to Lauterbrunnen, and when GR got off she wondered how she might make it back to the hotel! However, a hot chocolate helped (more Nurofen tonight) and last big walk for GR with hills!

This helps me believe no one has recently died. So first we hear a brief tutorial then we suit up. Our ...

We woke up this morning and headed to the Marienplatz in Munich. The Glockenspiel went off at 11:00am - I know many say its an overrated tourist attraction but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It brought back memories of my grandparents cuckoo clock. While in the square, we stepped into an amazing church - for the first time in my life I lit candles. ...

Surely the whole path couldn't be that icy you say? Well you're right. Just enough of it ...
