This hotel has a retro-feeling. Rooms are very spacious and have stunning views over the mountains. Breakfast are buffet style and very good. Service also very good. Undercover parking available. Burgerbad baths are walking distance from the hotel.

We skied a few runs and then went back to the resturant for a break because I was feeling tired and thirsty. DAd went and scouted the Lauberhorn run and confirmed it was open. We then decided to the full Lauberhorn run (all 4455 m of black run). We started off and I enjoyed ...

Staying at an American hotel (Marriott Renaissance) comes with American breakfast...eggs and bacon. Yum! We checked out of Lucerne and headed for the Swiss Alps of Interlaken, about an hour away through a lot of long tunnels. Interlaken's main street is like the Parkway through Gatlinburg, full of touristy souvenir shops, hotels, and restaurants. Almost everything is on this strip or within a block of it. ...
