... have been pretty fit philosophers because it was a steep trek! Lots of stairs and slippery cobblestone covered the switchback path up the first quarter of the mountain. From the top of that walk we eventually chose random paths to get us to the top where some cool ruins were. The signage on the paths were good, except that they were in German. Absolutely no English anywhere on this mountain. So, we randomly chose left or right when we got to a fork in the road. ...

... explore the many Christmas markets. We, again, made a dinner out of bratwurst and gluwein, and in the process noticed a bit more of a language barrier here. Now, back in the hotel room we are resting our legs and making plans for tomorrow. ... bottles of red wine and it was the perfect meal! After dinner we exchanged gifts. For Ric and I we just gave each other cards as the trip was a big enough gift for us! We had bought some Aussie made ugg boots with us for Conny and Berni. Dad had managed to find out their shoe size and luckily they fitted (yay!). They don't get the Aussie made ones here in Europe so that made them even more special. Berni and Conny gave us a little torch each for our travels, a hand bag holder ...

... Today (13 june) I was feeling horrible so I stayed in bed whilst Bee went to university. When she got back, we got ready and then went to a friend of bees for supper where I met more friends. The 10 of us then all had wraps and just chatted. And we were supposed to still go out with them all but I was still feeling sick and Bee wasn't to happy because of her english mark she had received. So we decided to just go home and sleep.
