      11/11 Corfu

We left the ship late and spent some time using the Port's free wifi. We were heading to the bus stop to take a bus into town when we ran into an enterprising taxi driver. He was waiting at the bus stop instead of in the line of taxis looking for €100 fares to tour the island. He offered us a €10 trip to the historic district and the same back. We found ...

We arrived in Corfu in quite heavy rain. We had organized a hire car for €43 which was very reasonable, and decided we would continue on with our plans. We drove to Paleokastritsa Bay which would have been beautiful on a nice day with a very rugged coastline and beaches. There was a monastery that we walked to with raincoats and umbrellas and viewed the inside of the church. Greek churches have flat ceilings and are decorated ...

... a service in Yacht club. If they are seen to be demanding or perceived as treating the staff like slaves they have the right. People who stay in yacht club have the right to get the service they want - this made me feel sad and all of a sudden staying in yacht club lost its appeal. I don't think I could watch rich people treat staff like slaves.
Next stop was the laundry. This zone was very interesting except the MSC receptionist Anna conducting the tour ...
