... the instructions were 'pitch where you want' so we checked the compass and pitched facing South in reach of an electric hook up amongst what are clearly transitees either heading home or away. As I make this entry there are units moving off on their travels.

Blue sky again, which does lift the sprits and we are off to find the sun and more warmth. We take it nice and gently, but as you can see we couldn't do it any other way, we let Pierre choose the appropriate gears, he is clever. Our altitude is 1600 metres above sea level and the sea is where we are heading. ... two small groups of Pyrenean Chamois, two together and then two Adults and a fawn as we moved slowly and quietly through the forest - fabulous. Very stiff the next day so took an easy day planning to shop in Vernet Les Bains and stop over at the Col de Jou again! However, gave up on the idea as the new motorhome is too wide!
