... didn't work out. The ferry took us past a couple of the stopping off at a beautiful one in a crescent shaped bay with all the white washed buildings lining the beach. We got off at the second village stop where we boarded a bus back to Chania. But to get back into the mountains and off the coast we went through more switchbacks. Family style outside just like Surin, except at a table with grape vines overhead for shade and of course Greek food.
