... and now during the week, everyone's back and doing their duties attending classes, and labs, and doing their homework. We took care not to disturb our hosts while they studied their subject matter. There was a lot of tests and exams this week for many students as well as our hosts. Enjoy the pictures of the campus all over RIT, and next time I make an entry, we should be in Virginia Beach by then, and staying for the month there.

... Dave and I decided to walk along the canal to get an ice cream. As we prepared to cross East Street, we froze in our tracks as a white, stretch limo passed us.

We made arrangements to all meet at a local restaurant, the five of us plus Tasha, for an early dinner, which was scrumptious, then walked down the street to an ice cream shop, just to top it ...

I didn't actually see much of Rochester – the bus station, the hotel and the arena was pretty much it but it was well worth the visit!!

A great day we started with a tour of the greatest bicycle museum I have ever seen. Just south of Rochester is one of the Finger Lakes called Conesus Lake. It's not too big, but every year they have a 4th of July celebration on the 3rd called the Ring of Fire. Met up with several friends to enjoy the fireworks and each other's company. ... be doing: (Friday 7:30 am) Leave Rochester for Chicago. Then go straight from Chicago to Shanghai's international airport. (Saturday 2:00 pm) Arrive in Shanghai We'll go to Hangzhou on Sunday on a bus sent by the university there, and we'll take a class there for 3 weeks. Then the plan is to head to Beijing/wherever else we may end up and explore on our own for a week or so. Return to US : ~ June 14... See ya from China!

Just today he gave us a small medicine bag full of herbs and magical items to protect us on our journey (He's certified by the West Virginia Wicca Association). Every little bit helps.
