    ... more active. We were not disappointed as we finally got the chance to see the two large black bears that were hibernating on our last visit! The animals were certainly more active on this visit and we spent a nice hour or so at the park. It is still hard to believe that the zoo is free!

    ... Being inland it is obviously a lake, but very big. Its a public holiday in Germany today and lots of people around. When we arrive and finally find parking there appears to be a festival of sorts on. Singing and stalls and heaps of people. Its cold and very windy, and just holding of raining.     ... it had very good ratings on Trip Advisor (that's how I found it). And we thought it might be nice to go somewhere like this after the hustle and bustle of Berlin.
    It certainly was nice....we really enjoyed the couple of hours we spent strolling around and I loved seeing all the animals and the little kids enjoying them. There were so many families out enjoying the nice afternoon :)
