... rehearsing, and polishing the performance. Is it perfect? Hopefully not because they have a long time to go, and I am sure their creativity will constantly cause the show to evolve. Besides the show, they have energetically jumped into their community impact projects. The communities they will visit will truly be blessed by these young people. Hopefully, Montevideo and your community can once again host an UWP cast soon
Awww, thanks Dad :)

Our resort offered a free shuttle service (departing at 9:00 am) to Leadville so that we could take the 10:30am Leadville, Colorado & Southern Railraod to the top of the mountain and then tour the town. It was perfect weather for the outing and I enjoyed the panoramic views during the
ride on the railroad. Afterwards we had lunch at Callaway ...
We drove scenic route 24 from Vail to Leadville for the day and walked around the old downtown.
Leadville has a 2.5 hour scenic train ride that we decided to take. The train ride included a stop to look at wild flowers. Susan de-trained to look at the flowers and I continued on a couple of miles to the molybdenum mine on Climax ...
... pool and had fun swimming. Late in the day Gabi helped Hannah tend to the goats and Bri read. Tonight we went to a rodeo and had a tailgate party there on a big flat bed trailer with a bunch of Carl & Wendy's friends. Bri & Gabi got into it eventually and were whooping it up and cheering on the riders.
If all goes as planned, we'll get going by 9 and I've got a 12 hour drive as we head towards Seattle.
... had dropped to 56 degrees. A far cry from yesterday in NM when it was near 100! The views were breathtaking from the top, and we managed to take some pictures before we got too cold.
After we made it down the pass we drove through Aspen on the way to Carbondale. It's a pretty town, and the ski mountains look great. We'll have to think about a winter trip here someday. My cousin ...
... the street known as 5 Pointz. Megu seemed to be topping Nobu, (Hi Hero if you're out there), and RDV was the place to be in the Meat Packing District. Williamsburg was still full of hipsters, but now the drink prices have caught up the Manhatten prices, and there are far fewer waxed mustaches around. I even had time to see the Statue of Liberty with my parents who were visiting from ...
Aspen, Colorado, United States alexmcafee... table-tops and spines are dotted along almost every run on the mountain. Thankfully the course sizes range from small to XXL... We tackled most of the obstacles on the small and medium courses, but became very 'selective' when it came to the Large course. The XL and XXL courses provided spectator action only... although we did manage to get involved: the extreme snowboarders often screamed abuse at us if we didn't scramble out of their way with enough haste ...
Aspen, Colorado, United States bhaebich... cruised up the mountain, it became clear to me the uniqueness of the city. Looking down from above, you really see how nestled in the town is among the mountains. It appears as if there is only one narrow nook through which to enter. I sympathize with the locals, who obviously struggle to keep living there after all these years, as it has become a haven for celebrities who cause the prices to increase drastically. We miss you, John Denver!
Aspen, Colorado, United States beachbumaxp... where I shared a room with two other women. They actually work at a hotel in Aspen, and save money staying in a dorm, since it is so expensive to live there. The St. Moritz lodge sounds more ritzy than it is, but it was comfortable and a good value for money for people on a budget. I had a late dinner and had a look around, saw some promising places for decent shopping, and went to bed exhausted!

Drove to Keystone and skied for the day. Adam and Kristina left at 1.30 pm for home as they had Youth that night. Snowed from lunchtime and was just so beautiful and magical, but cold with the snow falling. It is incredibly silent in the snowfields. Nathan and I were freezing and went down at 3pm so Brad could ...
