... around the Ancient Agora - this is the area which was the main centre of Ancient Athens. Not much is left but is set the scene for the kind of world that the early Christian communities were established in.
We then strolled around the Plaka (Old Greece), which was a beautiful area of restaurants and narrow lanes & shops. Would love to have has some 'retail therapy' here but we are on a really tight schedule ...

... on hers. They were just to die for… and 3 of them only costed 6 euro! We’re hoping they’ll be open for lunch tomorrow. We can’t forget - Mum was in denial about turning 48 in 2 days so here we are sitting with dye in her hair. Let’s just face it Mum… You’re old. We really enjoyed today. Only 4 days left so we have to make the most of it! We’re leaving for Paris tomorrow. Yay!
