Hotel Ascot Suites Morro Bay

My husband and I were looking for somewhere to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We have a number of friends at our local Yatch Club in Coronado, CA who have reccomended we try the Ascot Suites in Morro Bay. We decided to take a chance and were ecstatic with what we found. Upon arrival we were so impressed with the charm and warmth and when we were shown to our room...WOW!! We had an unobstructed view of Morro Rock, and our room was decorated with an astounding combination of style, romance and comfort, it felt like home. We adored the large bathroom with the jaccuzi tub and the warmth of the fireplace made me never want to leave! We ventured into their gorgeous lobby for a complimentary Wine reception. Upon returning to our room I was met with a sight I will remember forever. My husband had ordered the romance package! We had chocolate truffles, champagne in glass flutes, rose petals scattered over our king size feather bed and, for a little extra we had an in-room couples massage awaiting us. This was truley everything we had wanted for our anniversary. We will definately be back. An enchanting experience!

I was driving through and decided to stop at this lovely structure property called Ascot Suites. I was very amazed to see lovely friendly staff that accommodated all my requests.

The hosted wine reception with games was definately the highlight for the evening! Great knowledgeable staff for seafood restaurants within walking distance.

I must say to who ever decides to stay at this most beautiful location whether you are just stoppin in or a hopeless romantic or just a simple getaway - no matter what the occasion is, you will truly be treated LUXURIOUS! THANK YOU ASCOT SUITES for making me feel special.

I made my reservation by phone, explicitly asking for and was given a suite. I arrived to find that their "suite" was one room with two queen beds. The room was beautiful, but not at all what I wanted or expected to pay $189 for.

We booked this hotel from the internet, this stay was part of our honeymoon while travelling in California for three weeks. We can honestly say it was one of the best we have stayed at. Highkoy recommended, wonderful welcome, rooms out of this world and the ambience just great, we will definetely return one day. If you are looking for a hotel with that something special without being overpowering, this is just the place it has what we call the X factor.

The Ascots Suites made a huge impression on me. The staff was some of the friendliest people I have ever met. If fact everyone I met in Morro Bay were some of the nicest people I have ever encountered. The hotel is located just above the harbor which is lined with great seafood restaurants and shops. Everything I needed was right there within walking distance. the hotel serves complimentary continental breakfast which consisted of pastries, bagles, ftuits, and coffee. The lobby provided a comfortable sitting area to read the morning papers, or just ralax. The premium guest room with King bed that I stayed in was much bigger than most hotels that charged twice the price. My room featured a gas fireplace, and a built in jacuzzi in the bath tub. It also had a separate sitting area with its own love seat, and coffee table. I'm already planning to return to Morro Bay on my next getaway, and Ascot suites will definetely be a part of my stay.

All I can say is W O W. This hotel used to be a favorite of ours and then had to close for some renovations. Well it opened back up in December and they actually found a way to improve on perfection. The place is amazing and the staff are excellent!! You truly feel like royalty in this English Country B and B style hotel. I am so happy they're back up and open and look foward to many more trips to Morro Bay.

We have stayed at the Ascot Suites on several occasions, and have always been very happy with our experience. The rooms are beautifully decorated suites with gas fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs. A continental breakfast is delivered to your room in the morning. There is a lovely reception with wine and snacks in the lobby in the afternoon, and they include little extras such as turn-down service. It is well located, being walking distance to shops and restaurants. Service is always excellent. The only thing lacking is a pool, but this hotel makes up for it in so many other ways. We always look forward to another stay at Ascot Suites.

My wife and I stopped in Morro Bay while on our way back from Monterey when we found this place.

Very, very nice. We were able to check in at the last minute and the staff was extremely helpful and the room was to die for. A few blocks from the waterfront and there are a couple of upper floor rooms that have great views of Morro Rock. An eatery called "Dorns" is within walking distance for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good food at a good price. Highly recommend this establishment.

This was the third time I've stayed at Ascot Suites. I will defintely stay again. Charming, clean rooms, nice amenities with a lovely wine and cheese reception as well as continental breakfast. Our favorite for the Central Coast

This was one of the best hotels we've stayed in. The rooms were big and very clean. Everyone was friendly and more than helpful. I don't think we got in our car once. The hotel was right in the middle of everything.I had a 5 Diamond experience at this 4 Diamond hotel.
