A visit to the Western side of Lake Como
Slept in until after 8 this morning. Cold and cloudy outside so we had a slow breakfast and some good conversation around the dining room table for the whole morning. Interesting views from the cottage - sometimes looking out above the clouds at the sunshine but seeing nothing of the lake below.

Under way about 10. Pleased with ourselves that we successfully negotiated the tricky pathway from the car park in the moon light last night. Back down the winding road from Carcente and impressed with the quaint homes and villages along the way. Driving could present a problem but Norbert again demonstrated skill and ability as he encountered other vehicles on narrow bends.
