... week, doing half of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage hike. Rich was suffering in the feet department but it hadn't seemed to dent his enthusiasm too much. Julie was regretting the amount of pork and processed meat in the Spanish diet, but making up for it with testing out each region's wine. Sam and Henry regaled them with tales of their school and travels. the things they find goofy in Spain and the things they miss from home. We strolled to lunch in Burgos ...

... easier' walking sounds good, though I can see it's not a walk in the park, though if it was hot it would be the pits! At Honillas it says we have 469km to Santiago - that's nearly half way - will celebrate when we cross the half way mark - what an achievement!

We got passed by bikes just after San Bol. Nothing unusual with that but we passed them 5km later. 2 had broken all their gears & chains slugging through the mud and we got through it better on ...

... on a bus for Bilbao today. Should be a good night but early as we all walk in the morning. Tomorrow we walk to a town called Hornillos del Camino. It is so small that it has no hotel and we have to call a man from a village 3 kms away to collect us to his hotel, and drop us back the next morning. So not at all certain of the wifi situation! You can never tell, but if there are no words or blog, you know ...
