    ... it seems the choices are incredible but as the days wear on, the choices seem to always be the same.     ... nearby to the cathedral after which I walked up to the castle ruins. Sharon and Bert decided to join me. Over 200 steps later we made it to the top to beautiful views across Burgos. We hung out there for a while and feeling thirsty, went to a cafe for a sangria (me...does that really surprise you...), mojito (Sharon) and a beer (Bert). As I'm typing this the cathedral bells are sounding through the city, it's so beautiful! One of the many things I'm growing to love about Spain ...

    ... easier' walking sounds good, though I can see it's not a walk in the park, though if it was hot it would be the pits! At Honillas it says we have 469km to Santiago - that's nearly half way - will celebrate when we cross the half way mark - what an achievement!

    We got passed by bikes just after San Bol. Nothing unusual with that but we passed them 5km later. 2 had broken all their gears & chains slugging through the mud and we got through it better on ...

    ... to meet some people we have met along the way for dinner tonight. That will be fun. About 6 of us. A lot of people just come as far as Burgos, and don't continue on to the maseta, which is reputed to be the flat more boring bit. But we shall see. We may enjoy it immensely!
