... The Way', incidentally last year not knowing all that much about the Camino and now we were seeing it go past our hostel and from our little cafe was awesome. It did get us a little excited and thought how great it would be to do it one day. All of that Spanish food, wine and scenery through the cute little villages and countryside sounds amazing. Think the Camino will have to be on the bucket list for the next trip. Another visit back to Burgos will be there ...

... I could say I walked the ENTIRE Camino; however, to do so, I would have to make decisions that are inconsiderate to Tammy. Not so good when we are celebrating our 25th anniversary. Besides the purpose of our journey is to see what God has next for us, not to serve my pride. Enough said. Getting into Burgos early meant we had time to visit the Catedral de Santa Maria built in the 13th century and one of Spain's largest. Outside, the building is very ornate ...

... wide, dry, and pleasant walking. Then I became stoney and this plays havoc with my feet. I walked for 8k to have some breakfast in the next town because usually the breakfast at the albergues are just coffee and bread. Got to the next town and of course it is Sunday. Nothing open until 10:00am. ****!" hadn´t planned this. The next town was 13k. So off we go. I do not feel so silly because there were a lot of pilgrims who fell for this same trap, as it ...
