... muy grande. Imaginen que todo Croacia tiene menos habitantes que Santiago. No es tan lindo como Dubrovnik o Hvar, pero es mas "ciudad" y por lo tanto puedes ver mejor la real vida en Dalmacia.
Apenas llegue a Split desde Hvar en el ferry matutino (bien matutino) me sente en un banquito a meditar que hacer. De chiripazo habia podido tomar ese ferry, porque estaba absolutamente sobrevendido, y, finalmente a mi y a otro punado de gente desprecavida que no compramos ...
A city inside a palace - Split
... of the Palace their was a big statue of Gandolf (or a wizzard at least). We had dinner in a Italian cafe, I had Lasagne, it was nice but really oily! Italians put Oive Oil on everything. There is a lot of Italian stuff in Croatia because the Italians used to rule Croatia.
The next day we took the ferry to Hvar, an Island just off the coast.

... laid back than Dubrovnik with far less tourists. After the weather had improved we went to the beach. In the evening we had olives and beer on the terrace, it was heaven. We cooked again and had a bottle of Rose, more heaven. We met some fellow Otago students and enjoyed a few drinks and reminiscing with them.

Goodbye, Split, for real this time
... boarded and I put my stuff in there with him, then went outside to say goodbye to Reece. It was really, really, really hard. I seriously thought we were both going to cry. You think I’d be used to this lifestyle of loving and leaving by now, but it still gets me. It gets me with friends I meet on the road constantly, but never like this…never a sinking feeling in my stomach that I’ve missed another opportunity because of travel. It's ironic ...
