He had unfortunately been having serious problems with his back which has put him off work for the time being and as a result was able to 'hobble' us around parts of the city. Firstly, we went to an amazing coffee place overlooking Bern. Now if you haven’t been to Bern, go there! The city is truly gorgeous and personally I think it is much more appealing than Geneva.

... a couple with 2 huge packs a lift. I have never picked up a hitchhiker....fear of the unknown..... although in Ireland its common and we say 'thumb' a lift. Hmmmm maybe ill think about it.

... freaked me out. But well, this is a really good experience!

After the Plateau, we went to some place where it is warmer and went to get some souvenirs. Did not know that the shop here sells ear muff and glove if not i would have bought it! I bought some Swiss army knife as souvenirs. After getting our stuff we went to take the train back. Another 2hours train ride back to Berne!

Dead Tired but tomorrow we will be doing canyoning!

... corners and no counting calories. The whole meal cost 34 euro a head. It was very reasonable given the quantity and quality of food we had. Having said that, our stomachs were too weak and we had to make some pu-erh tea later at the hotel to help digest all the French delicacies.

... in fast vehicles or doing anything fast for that matter so I automatically stuck out both feet in hopes to slow myself down. Doing this only caused the snow to fly up in front of me and smack me in the face temporarily blinding me. I was so worried that I would run right into a small child so I dug my feet in deeper and went flying forwards face first into the snow. It was so much fun!!
