After all, mainly flat stages, today I approached the Black forest hills.
Starting in Soellingen, it went up immediately, from 100 metres up to 600 close to Ehningen.
From there it went down again through the beautiful Naturpark Schoenbuch.
Nevertheless, despite the climbing activities, the stage today was the longest so far, 106 km.
you have to work hard but it is compensated by the views ...
... br> Tomorrow a long trip into the Black Forest going up to 600 meters and a climbing distance of approx 70 km. It's a warming up for the next day when the Schwaebisch Alp is on the programm.

... 4 or so hours there; but we decided to carry on to Heilbronn. There was only a 3 minute connection time, but we only had to cross to the other side of the platform. This one was a RE (regional) train and it was packed in the second class section. We had the 12 seats in First class all to ourselves - not that it was all that salubrious, but it certainly wasn't crowded.
Have I mentioned that we've often had an entire 30 seat carriage to ourselves in ...

... t find a supermarket anywhere so we asked the receptionist at the hotel and she recommended a chinese buffet not too far away. We liked the sound of that and jumped straight back in the car and off we went on a mission to find chinese food!
We were located in a slightly more industrial part of town and as we drove around we passed by the ultra modern Porsche museum and factory (I had no idea Porsche was German?!).
We made it to the chinese restaurant ...
