... we squished out of the crowd. Like getting mustard out of a tube.
It was interesting when the road re-opened to traffic again. No fooling around there - police very quickly got everyone off the road and the buses and cars started coming.
Sat at the bus stop across the main street and people watched for a while.

Unfortunately though, the weather clouded over and suddenly the view became totally invisible ☹. By the time we reached the top it was snowing heavily and you could not see more than five metres in front of you.

We got to the top after 50 minutes in the cable car and were immediatley hit by how cold it was - well below zero, which was not ideal since we have only got jandals in our luggage since the robbery in Barcelona! (And being typical kiwis were dressed in shorts and tshirts - but at least we had the forethought to bring a hoodie) There are about 9 different things to go through up ...

After an hour & a bit, we head back on the Cabrio, & hook up with the Funicular to return to ground level & our waiting bus. The drive back to our hotel doesn’t take as long as we expected and we arrive there just after 3:30pm, for a rest before freshening up ready to travel to a local restaurant for our group’s "Farewell Dinner".

Yes, we loved it all!
…and well, then there are so many more places to see and enjoy, so many more friendly, helpful and peaceful people to meet and countless things to discover. We can only encourage all of you to get out there as well and get a taste of this wonderful world and it's fantastic people! We'll surely be doing it again...
