Things should be winding up today.
Every day there's been people, costumes, drinking, partying, litter, confetti - all over. Overnight a lot of it is cleaned up by city work crews but it's ongoing maintenance.
The train station is constantly busy.
Today there's Monstercorso Parade, which starts from the Bahnhofstrasse at 19:30.
And apparently a Children's Parade through Old Town in the afternoon.
Luzern is a small, gorgeous city, right on the edge of the huge Lake Lucern, nestled between mountains, with a view of the Swiss Alps in the distance. Breathtaking. Our day here started with a cable car up to the top of Mt. Pilatus where we were 2100m up looked over Lucern, and across to the Swiss Alps. …and well, then there are so many more places to see and enjoy, so many more friendly, helpful and peaceful people to meet and countless things to discover. We can only encourage all of you to get out there as well and get a taste of this wonderful world and it's fantastic people! We'll surely be doing it again...
