... we decided to go for lunch.
AGAIN! No food pictures. Obviously I am obsessed with eating vs. taking photos.
I had chicken in sauce with röschti (like hash browns but not quite) and T a curry chicken with rice. Although no photos, we confirm it was good.
We got the dessert menu and I could hardly get off page 1 - see photo.
T ordered seeing how I was locked into page 1 with all the ice cream flavors.

Luzern is a small, gorgeous city, right on the edge of the huge Lake Lucern, nestled between mountains, with a view of the Swiss Alps in the distance. Breathtaking. Our day here started with a cable car up to the top of Mt. Pilatus where we were 2100m up looked over Lucern, and across to the Swiss Alps. …and well, then there are so many more places to see and enjoy, so many more friendly, helpful and peaceful people to meet and countless things to discover. We can only encourage all of you to get out there as well and get a taste of this wonderful world and it's fantastic people! We'll surely be doing it again...

Our best day in Luzern was Jesse's birthday. We took a cable car & a gondola to the top of Mount Pilatus. ... shore of Lake Lucerne about an hour south of Zurich. We were greeted by a cheerfull lady who had family in New Plymouth and her son had lived in Cairns and was keen for a chat.
