Left Rhineland at a reasonable hour of 7.30am & are traveling to Lucerne where we spend 2 nights. Yeah!! We travel via Freiburg through the amazing Black Forest region.
Stopped at Schaffhausen to view the mighty Rhine Falls & arrive at Lake Lucerne. We explored through the streets, church's & shops of Lucerne. More free time in Lucerne (it's great to be somewhere for more than 1 night)
... food, where the price is based on the weight of the food you put on your plate. It turned out to be a vegetarian restaurant and the food was very tasty and the salads fresh.
After spending ages catching up on everything that had gone on in our lives since we last saw each other, we went to explore a little bit more of Zurich, wondering towards the river which leads to the lake whilst admiring the buildings.

Can't believe we are able to go along this ancient walkway that was used by knights to defend the town--just Imagine!
