Things should be winding up today.

Every day there's been people, costumes, drinking, partying, litter, confetti - all over. Overnight a lot of it is cleaned up by city work crews but it's ongoing maintenance.

The train station is constantly busy.

Today there's Monstercorso Parade, which starts from the Bahnhofstrasse at 19:30.

And apparently a Children's Parade through Old Town in the afternoon.

... time- so it was never possible to make sure Sophia was connected to a line. Of course she was though. Of course Jesse & Sophia were both being safe & smart. But it was still scary for me to not be able to watch over them. There was an option to do a free fall jump called the "power fan". You basically work your way across an extremely difficult course, 20 meters above ground, to a platform. You clip yourself from the ...

... 15 minutes. Finally we gave it up and emerged to find dinner.

The two grocery stores we tried to go to that were closer to our hostel were closed. At 6pm on a Saturday? We can only figure it must have to do with Mass? Not sure, but it meant we walked back into town to shop at the Coop at the train station. There was thunder and a downpour again and we arrived quite damp. No matter. Unfortunately, everyone else was doing their shopping there at the same ...
