    ... It’s a 5 hour hike for experienced hikers and an 8 hour hike for slow hikers who take lots of photos as a pretext for catching their breath (me).
    Warning: there is some bouldering. Also, you should wait until early July if you don’t want too much snow.

    As I left Darmstadt my satnav said I would arrive into Lauterbrunnen at about 15H30 which means its going to take me just over 6 hours to do the journey, however something just did not seem right with the timings and that was the time.

    ... if we were at the highest railway station in Europe! As well as the amazing views there was the added bonus of spring flowers everywhere, in particular masses of tiny mountain crocuses and even edelweiss! Made one feel like bursting into song!

    Lauterbrunnen was a 'high point' for our trip in many ways.
