The hotel we were staying at was 20mins out of Interlaken 1100m up the mountain and has the best views of Lake Thun and the cities below.

After the 10 hour drive from Paris we finally arrived at the stunning town of Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland at around 6. We had log cabins bunking 4 of us which was insulated nicely. Topdeck has a permanent tent set up to cook us up storms of yummy Swiss food. After dinner we made some new friends and went on a walk around the small town, up a waterfall and back to the camping grounds for some drinks. We had 3 Topdeck tours and British Military staying there so it was a bit of a rowdy night. ...

... we finished the day with a ski into the town before meeting up with JJ and catching the train down to Lauterbrunnen.

The church is a pretty white, steep roofed building set back from the main street. Some of the Oakhall group stayed in Wengen for a hot chocolate at the Crystal Café on the main street but Ruth and I headed back for the ...
