      ... Again I am struggling and puffing like a steam locomotive and had to stop on a number of occasions to catch my breath.

      Time was going and as I still had more to see today and so decided it was time to head for the cableway and make my way to lower places.

      ... restaurant that overlooked part of the glacier, it was just surreal having lunch 3454 meters above sea level with such an incredible view!

      After finishing off my leek soup and Marc with his Rosti, we made our way through to the Glacier viewing deck where we had a little bit of snow fall. The visibility was so much better than our experience at Mt Titlis. Still, no blue sky but at least we could see out a lot further!

      ... arriving in a distant second place at the restaurant.

      The cloud was making the light conditions flat, so skiing was more by feel as the detail on the slopes was not visible. Because this always improves when skiing in trees, we set off for the Tschuggen run via the Honegg chair. This is a lovely red which weaves through the trees much like the slopes we know in Northstar. It is a quiet run as the only way out is via a T-bar tow. Kat had never used a T-bar before so ...

      ... whole stay in Interlaken. We had just missed the bus, so we decided to walk to the boat dock. Interlaken is a small town, with mostly tourist shops, restaurants, and hotels. In the middle of town there is a large open field where cliff jumpers were landing. At any moment you could see the colorful parachutes dotting the backdrop of the looming Alps.
