... lady teamed up with us as she wasn't riding today either. We did a little bit of retail therapy at the markets and did our bit to keep the Hungarian economy ticking over. Then back onto the boat for coffee before going to tackle the suitcase. I have to try and condense it down a bit. It's amazing how much space a few extra plastic and paper bags take up! Once the boat docked in Esztergom we got our bikes and rode along the bike path for 6kms ...

At the very last of today's ride we visited the 3rd largest basilica in Europe, in the town of Esztergom. Perched 100 meters above our docking station, I'm writing this during the ship's afternoon coffee and cake session and sneaking occasional peeks at the fantastical scenery. A thunderstorm lasting 10 minutes has just finished so the picture is even brighter than usual.

... the boozer, where we proceed to get very inebriated (again).
Whilst in the bar, we meet more locals who insist we are their guests (prisoners) and want to buy us drinks (torture us).
We end up going back to another locals house for (more) drinks when the bar shuts. Here we end up staying for the night as we are 1.lost, 2.rat-***** and 3.hostages.
