We noticed that the archways of the old doors had a date inscribed telling the year it was built, most of them dating before the 1700. There was one old tower which was built in the 1300s. I found this pretty amazing considering Australia was colonized about half a millennia later! We had lunch and I ordered escargot but they ...

I awoke at 3am this morning and Billy Preau gave me a play by play analysis of the LSU-Ole Miss game. So happy the Tigers pulled it out!! We found a small bakery this morning and got some pastries and cafe au lait. Then we cheered on the hundreds of folks starting a marathon throughout the town. We have spent today touring Strasbourg on a boat and on foot. It's a college town and a small big city. Petite France is the very old part and it is ...
