Friday nights are a very important night for traditional Jews, we celebrate Shabbat which means that we have dinner as a family if guests are not here, if guests are here they eat with the family and I usually do my own thing. ... for the massive gothic Cathedral that was used for navigation by Allied pilots. It was quite cold but an enjoyable stopover. On our way to the hostel, we saw a few drinkingcarts powered by pedalling drinkers and steered down the road by the bartender (sober I hope). Our hostel was fine but far from the best we have stayed at. We walked around Cologne the following day and it felt different to be out of the tourist crowds and actually in a livable, practical city.

This is not a great adventure, more a welcome back.<br><br>It is great to be back in Villiprott to visit our old friends since the 70ies. Now I have been staying with them for two weeks and we have done a lot of different things. This part of Germany have many interesting places to visit, both nature and culture.<br>

... went to Altenberg for pictures and then met friends and family at the "Hiotel zur Post" in odenthal. The party there was phenomenal and the food exquisite. We hardly had time to talk to our guests as we were so engulfed in the games people had conjured up for us and enjoyed all our musician friends perform.
