As Buddha Sir certificate Sys " I didn't climb Everest, but I touched it with my heart" We're all on a high when we land back in Kathmandu and a group shot beside the plane is a nice reminder of what we've just done. Caroline was feeling pretty good during our long layover in ...

... unwell and dehydrated when she arrived. Mum said she hadn't fed for 3 days and she was grunting and had no tears when she cried. She was admitted and got better with antibiotics and IV fluids. A few more cases of typhoid, these seem more routine for us now which is strange! This week it was Hannah's birthday which was celebrated by most at the hospital. On the monday evening we had a leaving party for the spanish nurse and some german dentists as well as ...

... women dance around an offering tray where men make donations and vice versa on another day. It was incredibly embarrassing dancing Nepali dances (very different to UK dancing!) while everyone came to watch the European girl make a fool of herself!!! The third day is for worshipping cows and whilst out on an early morning walk with one of the doctors we stumbled across a calf being blessed. It involved it being sprinkled with petals before being ...
