After our rural health post trip time seemed to speed up and our time in Manthali very quickly came to an end. We spent the days working in the clinic and emergency and the evenings spending as much time as possible with our friends. We watched the procedure room coming together. The equipment that we had ordered from Kathmandu arrived on the top of a bus the day before we left. We also hired 2 local men to paint the walls ...

A 13 year old girl who fell off a swing fracturing her wrist and leaving her with the most swollen black eye we've ever ...

For us it was very different and we really enjoyed it start to finish! Except the first day which is for worshiping crows, which was just a normal day for us. We felt a little sorry for the crows being left out as you will see below. Day two is a day for worshipping dogs and we spent our morning before work going for a ...

It's getting harder to get out of bed, but that's got more to do with how body sore we are from the beds. The family were partying into the night last night, singing, dancing and playing drums. There were some kids who came through the neighbourhood singing door to door, apparently Gopini paid them to go away, but down the hill they didn't realise that's what they had to do and they sang and got louder until after ...
