... to visit Hotel Groslot (known for its opulence) but there was wedding party just arriving. The day was overcast and there were a few light showers at times. ... and it went around so much faster. There was a constant steam of people buying their produce - and quite a few on bikes - even in line with their bikes. I returned to the hotel with raspberries and blackberries. These were perfect as I had only snacked on nuts for lunch. Ice cream would make them even better. On my wanders I found a Restaurant with red snuggle rugs on chairs for patrons to wrap around themselves. It had been a little chilly of an evening but these were out on the seats during the day also. ... stop was the stained glass centre - centre international de Vitrail - there were two exhibitions but no classes today. The first exhibit was stained glass panels from various cathedrals etc dating back hundreds and hundreds of years. It was amazing. The second exhibit was more contemporary and featured artists who worked in many media including glass - and not just stained glass.
