Enough resting, time to hurt ourselves a bit more. We caught a bus down to Samedan from where we caught a train laden with Japanese tourists to a small station called Spinas. From Spinas the line enters a tunnel which emerges at Preda, we decided that using the train is far too simple and so we set out to walk to Preda over the top of the mountain.

We were very excited about the planned activities in Venice this morning and early afternoon. We learnt there is 2 Venices ~ Venice the island with all the canals and buildings like we see on TV; and also Venice the city back on the mainland.
