      ... Haven't seen a lavender field yet though. I finally had a crepe. Omg I'm OBSESSED. I had a Nutella one and it's changed my life. I also had salted caramel gelato again.       ... bit before saying our goodbyes to the family and Rob & Asha before heading on our way north to a little town called Arles in the south of France as a bit of a stepping stone to getting to Nice.

      ... Monte Carlo (I wonder how much they get used in a year?).

      The cab driver pointed out that Bono lived at one of the smaller towns on the way to Monaco- so we gave him a wave on the way through.

      The Taxi dropped us up the hill at the old part of the town- just outside the Royal Palace, where they were changing the guard.

      ... in the ASCI book for another campsite. Luckily there were a few not to far away so we headed back down the valley to the coast road and ended up at Villaggio del Fiori just outside San Remo.

      It's a bit more expensive here but we have free WiFi, and there is a restaurant on site from which we have just returned having had a delicious pizza and salad.

      Tomorrow we leave to Sestri Levante
