I can now say I've experienced Athens nightlife, even if only a slice of it. What amazed me was the fact that people were still having full, sit down meals at half past midnight. ... If they had the energy to be awake, then why weren't they outside! The only time that I am inside is when I'm writing on this blog or sleeping! To each there own I guess. I left them to it and hit the sack. Again no trouble sleeping, don't even remember hitting the pillow.
Today I woke up to several alarms, all at different times. You see because my friends are still in the midst of jet lag they have to make sure that they wake up to there alarms. So ...
... a team. I don't know how it happened, but between the 3 of us, we knew a lot of things, and we totally WON! We were super surprised, and super stoked to learn that we'd won a bottle of local wine! It was delicious. Before I sign off, something interesting that I've already learned about Athens, is that the whole freaking city is a museum. Even in the metro station, there are ancient vases and marble statues - it's ridiculous. I think I'm really going to like it here ...
