... Well, the dude was both stupid AND most definitely ****** up on drugs. He returned a few minutes later and leaned up against a rock wall 30 feet away just staring at us. It was more than uncomfortable and we wanted to leave but we weren't sure if he had other people with him and he was blocking two of our exit routes so we chilled for a bit and let a close eye. I hear a little commotion and then Joe yelled, "he's got a knife!" I quickly jumped up and saw the couple, with the ...

So, for me, it was back to the drawing board to try and understand this "new" language!!!   Before getting to Cali, a lot of travellers had said to only do 1 night there or just skip it. Colombia marks my last country before I return to Europe and the ...

... treacherous climb! Luckily on our way we had fuelled ourselves with some pan de bono, a cheesey yucca bread that is quite doughy and addictive and a specialty of Colombia! The climb took a bit over an hour and had OK views over the town from the top but maybe not worth the effort! To tire ourselves out some more we had a go at the outdoor gym up there before heading back down. Being the adventurer he is, Ash saw an 'alternative' route down which he confidently claimed ...

... out dancing there, but that's the way it went. I still enjoyed a stroll downtown and wondered through the busy market streets and quiet neighborhoods. The one activity I was really glad I got to do was to go to the zoo, which is supposedly the biggest zoo in South America. It was a wonderful day filled with all sorts of monkeys, apes and other animals from all over the world. I even got to see some Tetra fish, just ...
