What a difference a day makes

Near the bottom on day three I met the only person I had seen since breakfast a young woman running towards me as though chased by a bear. She stopped me and explained that she was lost. I should say so. She was heading back up the mountain in completely the wrong direction which someone had told her was the way back to the town she was aiming for. The Pyrenees
... but the medieval and renaissance buildings were quite pretty and in great shape. The streets were lined with cafes and restaurants and we made our decision to come back here for dinner.

Heat wave and first snow
I am now 54 years old. How did that happen? To think it was only 4 years ago I celebrated my 50th birthday in Cardiff during the last rugby world cup, just doesn't seem possible. Really looking forward to the Wales-France semi final at the weekend. Who do I support? Well I guess Wales – they’re practically French anyway being Gallois!
