Hotel Argo Athens

... a couple of the other guys on the tour to go out for dinner. We find a rooftop restaurant near our hotel with fantastic views of the Acropolis. My dish is “Rooster and Okra.” Fabulous!

After dinner we walk around the neighborhood, and see the new Acropolis Museum. Our rooftop deck at our hotel also has wonderful views, so we sit enjoying a truly unique sight under the light of a beautiful full moon.

Yassas from Greece! Well after an epic travel day we finally made it to Greece. Lets just say it has been very interesting so far. Luckily we rented a car, which was proven to be invaluable since we are in the middle of nowhere. Our hotel/Club Med is located in a small beach town 40 mins outside of Athens. We are definitely among the locals! The language barrier has been quite crazy, but Tim is starting to get really good at reading Greek, but verbal communication ...

It's a sheer hill that is in the middle of the olive grove - you can just tell that its not a hill that anyone/or anything uses. So we bounce our bikes up this hill, only to get to the top to see that there is nothing there and we have to bounce our bikes back down the hill and back up the other side to be taken up another 'off-road' track again non ...

The Acropolis is actually one of the 20 finalist of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Too bad it wasn't one of the winner, otherwise, I could have taken two items off the new 7 wonders to pay a visit to, hehe.
