We slept in a bit today, felt great! We checked the timetable for the local Yamaguchi train line and (bonus!) we had time for a quick breakfast before departing The local train also departed from the Shin-Yamaguchi Station across the street.

We got off at (downtown) Yamaguchi Station, checked the map and walked down to the main shopping street in Yamaguchi. We browsed the stores at the Emura Fashion Community Plaza in the covered outdoor mall on Nakaichi ...

We said yes and drove off in her little car, stopping occasionally to take photos of the amazing scenery of rice paddies as far as the eye could see. When we arrived she dropped us at a 5 star hotel which we had to leave immediately due to ridiculous ...

    Paradise Lost

... we rushed on the train while Stapp stayed behind. Our train rolled out just as Duc and Kelsey made their way up the stairs to the platform. Once we arrived in Kyoto we received a disheartening call from Stapp. Apparently, Duc had lost her rail pass. The rail passes are for two weeks and cost a pretty penny so you can imagine the panic. Stapp told us to go ahead to Kameoka while he and the girls searched for the railpass. Well, we did as we were told and eventually ...
