We were planning to go to Liechtenstein but thought we may as well as it was sort of on our way. It's the worlds 6 smallest country so it would have been rude not to go..haha.
We didn't drive to the main town but to another.. where really there wasn't anything. I did get a photo with the tourist sign though. Had to somehow prove I'd been there!
... both up the hills and down them!! They had just made it through the Flueelapass, but they had lost brakes, and so the vehicle was left on the road and they put their stuff in another vehicle to get to the nearby campsite. A short night later, they eventually got back to their vehicle, and found that it was OK to drive. Gaz had removed the bonnet, to allow the engine to cool more easily.

... us through a shopping centre. There we spotted a couple of uniforms, which just had to be policemen, so we decided to chance our luck. When we explained the mission, they were more then happy to oblige with the photo of the team and one of them. The next question was the 'handcuffs' photo. As I was speaking in German to them, I managed to det the idea over, but the policeman ...
Vaduz, Vaduz, Liechtenstein dirtyweekendersWork has been quite slow lately so since I had nothing better to do today, I took a train to Sargans, Switzerland, and then waited for a bus to Vaduz, Liechtenstein. I missed the bus that left 4 minutes after I arrived. By missed, I mean I couldn't find it until I saw it driving past me. And there are only two or three bus stands in Sargans at the train station, so it was completely due to a lack of intelligence on my part.
Once I ...
We made an early start climbing aboard the famous Glacier Express at Chur Station for the long days haul up to Andermatt and beyond. The bright red livery of the train cheering the relatively dull contours of the station platform!
Our spacious viewng carriage was found to be very comfortable, each place being fitted with multi-lingual audio headphones relaying interesting travelog as we ...
... I could imagine it being a very lively place in the ski season. The day we chose to visit was ghastly! The rain causing a very low mist over the scenery. The cable-car wasn't doing much business that day either and our planned walk into red squirrel country up above the town didn't seem to beckon us! After a light refreshment in the nearest cafe we climbed aboard the same train we had arrived on and made the very slow descent back to Chur!
After such a long day travelling down the Rhine Valley to Austria and Germany then back into Switzerland through Appenzell into Graubunden back to Chur we needed a nice dinner, then bed !!!
We had another long and exciting day ahead of us in the morning.

... birth but lived in Oz. He spoke fluent German but had an ozzie accent it was weird. I named him Jurgen "Bruce" Heider. We sat and drank in the bar at the site as there was a party with the Contiki (club 18-30) people. It was a good night and we got a bit ******. He wasnt much of a drinker which was surprising being a German so we just drank, well i did really. We rode from Venice upto Southern Switzerland and stayed in Lugano. It was an awesome place and we hired a ...
Zug, Switzerland matt-d82... go all out for desserts, and it shows…but they also walk a lot, so they can eat like this. When we returned from dinner, it was quite late and we have an early start on Monday... we are off for Lucerne. (Before I forget, the music during dinner was absolutely wonderful. Two young fellows were playing local Swiss mountain music on accordions and my feet just couldn’t stay still. Maggie was the only other one of Our Group who went with us.) We had a great time.
