      ... there in Maribor, doesn't help we forgot our guide book either. The most entertaining bit was arriving in Ljubljana Airport and picking up the hire car for my first driving on the right hand side of the road experience (have previously driven in NZ but they are the same as side as the UK).

      Yesterday we had the briefing for my next 2 week tour, this time of Northern Slovenia and Croatia and the Italian Alps. My bike is a Suzuki DL 1000 which is the big brother of the 650 I was on for the previous tour. It has more power, more comfort, plus traction control and a slipper clutch.       On Wednesday we slept in until 2:30 (in all we slept 16 hours!)...jet lag strikes again. We took a look around our hotel and checked out some of the mineral pools before lounging in the lobby and soaking up some of their wifi! My sister and niece came by for an afternoon visit as we were too exhausted to venture anywhere that day.
