... Segovia. It was just sunset when we arrived, the low light stunning on the roman aqueduct (at almost 100 feet high, with more than 150 arches, built almost 2000 years ago with no mortar! it carried water for the town until 50 years ago!) ... day. Weather-wise and sight wise. Our first object after breakfast was to see the cathedral. Well, this is very hard to describe in words...we did expect something good, and it is world heritage etc...but it is AMAZING! To put in perspective, I think I felt as awe struck as when seeing St. Peter's in Rome. It is not gaudy - just out of this world - to me! Anyway, all I can do is put up photos.... ...
