    Today was mum's birthday. We made her breakfast and gave her a few presents we had bought on our trip. I have her a pair of Murano glass flower earrings. Then we headed to a small beach on the east coast called Duga Uvala. The beach had beautiful turquoise sea and a rocky beach. The water was much warmer than other days, but I still got cold quickly.     Today was mum's birthday so she decided to go to the beach. We drove to a place called Duga Uvala, a little bay on the east coast of Istria. The beach was rocky and there were lots of sea urchins in the water, but we had our water shoes so were ok. The water was still cold but today was the warmest day so far so we were able to stay in quite a long time. Mum and I went snorkelling right across the bay.     ... stomachs at the top! We did the swing twice and the second time still jolted me! Then I did the static zorb. This was 3 metal rings that I was strapped inside, like the Di Vinci man.
