... We understood the English video a little better than the French one... We also went for a short stroll through the city, checking out sites such as the fountain, flower clock and bridges. ... some main roads near Ouchy, but there was almost always a cycle path or cycle lane - definitely better than yesterday! Tomorrow we leave for St Michel de Maurienne in the heart of French Alps cycling.
My last ride in Annecy tomorrow morning is a challenge with four Cols in total before meeting up with Mich in Thones.

... lot to see in Annecy! At least not this time of year. It has a spectacular lakefront - during mid summer, or mid winter, it would be an amazing town for a holiday. A great spot to be based for skiing locally... We took the high road back around the lake, climbing 600m into some absolutely classic Rhone Alpes landscape, dotted with very Swiss style mountain villages and massive limestone peaks all around ...
