... mountains covered in snow, with glaciers visible everywhere (no more Italian frecciarossa or FrecciaBianca trains, with the free coffee/wine carts that visit the seats after each train stop - boo hoo). Hi all, we woke to another foggy morning in Venice. After disembarking from the ship we found our way to the train station. Stairs and bumpy road ways were causing a bit of frustration for all of us trying to wheel our luggage along and a few choice words may have been said. ... it is not my fault. And I asked the girls in Reception if they knew anywhere I could buy a cheap case. They said, "You could try the Chinese shop just out there and to the left." So I took a walk. There was a mid sized case for 13 Euros. "Nah," I thought... "Everything fits in what I have." So I left it. Packing up this morning, I couldn't stop thinking that 13 Euros was a very cheap case. And where would I find a case like that in Rome. ...

It's 1.24am. Now, you can either wish you had chocolate in the early evening... And chastise yourself because you forgot to buy some. Or You can buy chocolate... Eat it. And then not sleep. Chocolate keeps me awake. I know this. If I was home, I would be wandering the corridors. Can't really do that here. I have walked miles and miles today. ( Not to mention 'queueing'.)
