... queue. I was a bit stunned to see army with full blown guns walking around, and so many police on the streets, best keep my bag close if it's that bad, ha. Then we had a big walk around before hanging out at the laundromat on our street to do some much needed washing. Once the house keeping was finished we headed out again for yes more food! I'm sitting in the Emirates departure lounge in Geneva waiting to board my flight to Sydney via Dubai in 50 minutes. It’s now 1.45 pm local time and I’ve just saw via the SMH site that South Sydney have won their first rugby league championship since 1971. The small old villages make wine the old way (stipulated by law) and you can smell the fermentation as you ...

... quite beautiful. Gruyere is also home to HR Geiger, the designer of Alien (Scary sci-fi movie) and there is a museum dedicated to his work if that's your thing. As we were walking out of the village, we came across a herd of deer - a stag, his harem and progeny - there was action aplenty. Thank you Barbara for a wonderful day that we will never forget. When we arrived back at Barbara's and Claude's place, Emily was cooking a lamb roast. Perfect end to the day with some wine and ...

Sorry everyone, we will fill you in on our time in Ireland/Scotland in abridged versions in a separate blog. We were enjoying spending time with our family and also had long days and short nights- which did not allow for much blogging time. After visiting the Royal Yacht Britannia we were escorted to the airport by the family where we once again said our goodbyes before continuing on to Switzerland. We had lunch at ...
