... evening we had a super night with Cousin Dan and Sheila in their very nice village of Scotch Corner (I think a population of 350). After very sad good byes we are now back in Chamonix. It's always hard leaving Aunty Chris and Neville. Interesting for us, Chamonix felt like "coming home". The snow is further down the mountain, the trees are all golden and we are now off to watch NZ v Australia in the Grand Final. Go the Mighty All Blacks. ...

I am staying at the Geneva Youth Hostel. It is 10 min walk from the train station, or a couple of mins by tram15. It is also just a few mins walk to the lake itself, and you can of course see the mountains everywhere. I could see the lake from my room!
