... North into France to Evian. I didn't see anything particularly stunning that makes their water better than anywhere else, but it is a nice town at the foot of the mountains and was worth a visit. Our final day was pretty much a washout, but fortunately our AirBNB guy has a massive TV and so we had a chillout day, catching up on some schooling, playing Monopoly and watching a couple of movies. Next stop, back into France to Champagne. :-)

... t some great scenery, there was, but even though it is a Parc de Natural the area is dotted with half completed, massive, hotel ruins.
It’s absolutely criminal that developers have been allowed to trash this coastline. A lesson for Australia about inappropriate development in National Parks!

We have started following the green lines (scenic routes) on the road map as we start our return journey north and east to France. Following these lines will keep us away ...

... s cathedral and went in to explore it. You could walk up lots and lots of curving steps to the very top for a great view of the city! Fun to see the inner workings of the church, with the very old beams and bells . . . Then, we explored the archeological findings - a very old roman church underneath the existing cathedral - they are working on this area now to find all the old remains . . Then, we headed back to our hotel . . One more dinner ...
