    ... cellists a flautist, oboe, piano drums and soprano, tenor and 2 ballet dancers. It was magical. Truly magical. The absolute best part of Vienna by far. We then had a lovely surprise when we returned to our room to find we'd been invited to the Captains table for the farewell dinner.     ... and then back so we did do some exercise today. As it turned out, the others said it had been a really good ride, the rain stopped and it was easy to follow. Oh well, never mind. Back on board and we went up for afternoon coffee and were happy chatting with other people for quite some time. All of a sudden someone said to us our names were being called over the PA.     The boat didn't leave Budapest until 3 in the morning, there was no wind, our side of the boat faced the street lights. All this conspired to a very poor sleep for both of us, and I feared for the day ahead. Oh, and it was raining as we woke up.
    No fear - the rain cleared, the cycle route was interesting, fun, not difficult, and a lot of the time I was inwardly rapturous with the beauty of nature.

There was a Midieval castle at the confluence of the Vah and Danube Rivers, and Komárom was granted special status of the Hungarian royal family 750 years ago to operate as an independent city (equivalent to Buda and Pest).
