After a silky smooth North Sea crossing, we woke to sunshine streaming into our wee cabin. A bed, a window, a clothes peg, and a shower/toilet is the extent of the facilities. A quick shower apiece sets us up for our first day abroad. We skipped the expensive ship's breakfast, so we'll find something en-route or "make do". On this occasion the GPS proved invaluable in steering us along a multitude ...

... give way for us all the time. At least, thats the way we have treated it! Our journey took us through Tilburg, Eindhoven and Weert. On a few occasions i still find myself looking in the wrong ...

AND SO IT BEGINS...with a lot of packing!

As the picture shows there was quite some stuff that all had to go into this 60L backpack. Although you might think otherwise it really did fit! But I guess my clothes will be rather wrinkled when I get them out, but hey that's not the end of the world :D

Another thing I really did not expect was the weight. My backpack only weighs 13 kilos (29 pounds) O.o When I compare this with the 16-18 kilos I had for Scotland ...

This is a much nicer town with some old buildings. But the shops so many and although they were having sales not as good as the outlets we will be visiting. We did come across some cannibas chocolate for sale and a few other strange things like edible G-strings. This town has 50 churches and many are not being used so they turn them into ...
