I made it to Lagos yesterday. Its basically a beach/party town. The second place that I walked into turned out to be a really great room for 25 euros a night complete with my first english language tv of the trip. Today I spent part of the day in Sagres, the southwestern most point in europe. Good for pictures and walking really really far. Tomorrow I´m going to attempt to get to Seville.
... like it. That night we went to dinner as a group and then headed off to a bar called Joe's Garage. Everyone was dancing, drinking, meeting people just an overall good time. The bartender lit some shots on fire as girls danced on the bar. Good times.
The next day we went on a Sangria boat cruise along the coast of Portugal! It was absolutely breath taking. I've never seen water soo ...

So, one thing i did notice is that the guys and girls that worked there were SOOO drunk. So i started to notice a pattern of them getting hammered every night, much like Ios, it had a similar feel.
Well, the days in Lagos pretty much consisted of me sitting on the beaches, Praia de Batata and just having a sandwich here, and sun, there. I did the second day with Neel before he had to leave and ...
... Portuguese cod dish, which was out of this world. It was our first dinner as the 6 of us, which was definitely nice.
We were a little astonished by the amount of attention we got just walking down the street. Greece, Italy no problems but for some reason a group of 5 white girls plus 1 asian girl makes an impression on the men. Not mentioning any names, but one of us was treated to a nice slap on the ass. Please see upcoming photos for ...
... then we cooked up a BBQ on the roof terrace for dinner - very nice!
Megg had recovered by the morning, and it was time for a day trip to Sagres! We caught the slow slow bus to pretty Sagres, had lunch, and hired bikes to ride along Cape St Vincent, the western most point of Europe apparently. It was a really nice ride with beautiful views - would have been great to watch the sun set, but the last bus back to Lagos ment we missed it :( We all headed out for dinner to taste the ...
... lucky to have her in my life & I'd really like to get a replacement ring.
If anyone is visiting and is able to drop off a few rings to a nearby resort. My friend owns a timeshare and the people at the resort will pay you to make it worth your while.
Thanks,

... about perfect and the most direct. QF9 Mel to Lon, then switching airports in London to catch BA2694 to Faro), and the timings meant we missed a lot of the crowds and traffic, particularly in London - so well done to Yvonne who pulled together our travel arrangements.
There were a few things we had to watch along the way - mainly in London, for instance, there is now a shuttle bus service that runs between London Heathrow and Gatwick airports (so no longer a ...
... i was on my 3rd lap of Lagos trying to find hostel- turns out the last pub i was at was only 50 metres from my hostel but i turned left instead of right and ended up walking for about an hour... still managed to make it back for breakfast so i was pretty stoked. After finally peeling my eyes open at about midday i decided that i was in portugal to get some surfing done and so pack the car found a board hire shop ...
Lagos, Algarve, Portugal rusty_oz... by a Danish couple (Sigrud and Jorn). Sigrud loves to hike and has stories ready to share with anyone interested at breakfast. In her enthusiasm for the outdoors she prepares sandwiches for your hike, sticks in a map and bids you farewell for a good day!! Our first morning the skies were looming with rain but we took our chances and headed out for a 3 hour circular hike - over the hills and down to the ocean, through new sub-divisons and back. We ...
