... that could end in a rather serious accident. I somehow did just happen to see quite a few cars at the edge of the road in smashed up condition on quite a few bends!! While heading along the coast road I suddenly arrived at some customs and realised I was heading into Bosnia!! I do remember looking at the map a few days ago and realizing we passed through about 20 or so km of Bosnia but I certainly do not ever remember customs etc on my last visit here. This 20 or so km is ...

Apparently it is used as some sort of therapy near by so the rotten egg smell wafts in the area. I spent an extra couple of days here which was relaxing. From here I caught a bus up North to Pltivice National Park with Vish. This deserves a blog entry all for itself because it was absolutely breathtaking. Entry to come ...

... Day 4. Hvar town Marty made it to breakfast for a change and had plenty of time for exploring the town, including the spanjola fortress overlooking the town (once used as a pirates fortress) and to hula hula bar for a drink with some top notch views....mostly the sunset over the beach but the guys also noted a few better sights. That night we partied hard for our new friend Lauren's birthday, where Adam (her other half) bought her a 1L mojito 'sparkler cake' for her birthday ...
