... As I left the park I found myself (walking now) on cobble stone streets with stone home and narrow streets. A fun place I will bring the gang to explore. They led me to the Old Town and waterfront. Later afternoon we all explored the park down the steps near our house. We left Dubrovnik in a torrential rain storm & got completely soaked walking to the bus, but dried out on the 5 hr bus ride to Split. Split is an amazing city of 180k population. I would compare it to the French Rivera, with the gorgeous view of the Adriatic Sea, the promenade (Riva) & expensive yachts. It is a tourist Mecca with all the bars & restaurants. ...
