    ... line-height: normal;">We decided on a cheap, do-it-yourself type excursion because not only did it cost considerably less than the alternative, 28 Euros each ($40) as opposed to 88 kunas each ($140) but it was two hours shorter. As it was, this trip was billed as being 8 hours but the others were either 10 or 11 hours and we did not think we could endure that length of time without a sleep.

    We docked in Split last night (the concert was in Split). So today we planned to walk the old town. We were both awake around 7, got up, had a Smoothie for breakfast and went to Yoga.     ... was very commercialized. There are actually apartments and rental rooms in the upstairs section of the palace. All this takes away from the historical significance of the structure.
