    ... a 20:57 train to Vienna tonight. We got to the station a little early but we bought some food and waited im the cafeteria of the station. A bit of confusion over the tickets as they had different seat numbers than were indicated on our receipt. Anyway it all worked out well.     Coach tours have their pluses and minuses... love (not) the early mornings - bags outside the door by 6.30 and then long days of driving 6+ hours ... but you get to see Europe without having to navigate. The iPads help the driving days with books, games and writing blog copy!

After brunch it was definitely busier, but still reasonably cool as the buildings are so close together.     ... of the day was that our room was ready. A hot shower and clean clothes and we are ready to explore Venice. First order of business is food! We have made our dinner reservations at the Danielli for tonight and we have tickets to a classical Vivaldi concert in an old church for tomorrow night.
