... The Mediterranean Sea was really cool to swim in though and the sun was great. I ate a fair amount of gelato on the trip and enjoyed the euro making Spain much more economical than London. Also Spanish food is so much more tasty then the rather bland UK style of pub food so I had some paella as well as lots of tapas throughout the last couple days. ... about 6:00pm. We started writing the Blog for today while we waited for dinner at 7:00pm. Once again we decided to eat in at the hotel - a few reasons being it was inexpensive, easy and also we have not had an opportunity to explore anything in this area other than Puy du Fou - that is probably the reason this hotel exists. ... Magic also featured as a priest disappeared from under his cloak in a puff of smoke. As the village went up in smoke we could feel the great heat coming from huge flames - once again amazing! The technology used is unbelievably hi-tech and amazing!!!

... trucks were having a break. Only one toll ticket for 3.5 hours and as we got near Nantes we came off to go to the lovely town of Saint-Philbert-de-Grand-Lieu we had to pay €51.50 for our days work.
The drive North was ever changing because very soon we had left the vineyards behind and soon encountered huge fields of barley many already cut and straw baled and removed more with combine harvester parked up ready to roll.
