Wednesday - We are well into our journey now en route to our first port of call Praia da Vitoria in The Azores.We have another full day of cruising tomorrow and will arrive at our destination Friday morning. The blog will be a lot more interesting then.

... and a tough walk back up but we both managed to make it up without even having to stop to rest (that should work off a pound or two). This was good proof that Lyle's stents are doing the trick although I did bring the Nitro spray with me just in case :-)

... We finished up in town and went up to a panoramic view point where the wind almost made us sisters to Mary Poppins. I noticed a golf course on route down, so of course Rui had to stop in and make the golf pro open the shop. Then I had to buy a couple ball markers. Beautiful course that is rated number 2 in Portugal, but no one was playing in the hurricane. We ended the day with a wine tour at the only vineyard on the island. Was beautiful and all organic.
